Hi, I’m Vicki. Lover of long walks, cocker spaniels and cracking landscapes. Inexhaustible fountain of innuendo, energy and enthusiasm, and an easy-going wedding photographer in Edinburgh.

I think your wedding should be a total hoot, not a photo shoot.* It should be a day of hugging, dancing, and gloriously drunken romance. A day where you get to properly enjoy yourselves, spend as much time with your friends and family as possible, and soak up every last drop of fun along the way. That’s the dream, right? And as your wedding photographer, I’m gonna work my little socks off to give it to you. I’m sneaky as a ninja, quick as a cat, wise as a badger and friendly as a spaniel. I’ll slip into your day like an extra best friend, and leave as Nana’s new favourite.  And most of the time, you won’t even know I’m there. I want to give you a wedding album filled with energy, emotion, laughter and love. With natural, in-the-moment photos where you’re not just mouth happy, you’re eyeball happy.

(I should say before we begin. I’ve been a wedding photographer in Edinburgh for thirteen years now. So when you’re picturing me as a ninja, don’t make me one of those young whipper-snapper ninjas. I’d be an old, wise ninja with a majestic white beard.)

  • Where to begin…if you are looking for THE BEST wedding photographer, look no further than Vicki. Not only did she capture our day beautifully, but she truly added something special to our experience. When she arrived in the morning, it was like the fairy godmother had come to put everyone at ease and feel comfortable. She has a way of taking photos without making you feel self-conscious, and putting a smile on your face while she does it. She had great advice throughout the day of where and when to take certain photos - including running through the venue to find both the bride and groom (who were about as far apart as possible) to seize a short window of gold hour lighting! She was also incredibly organised throughout the long list of family photos we had requested, which was massively appreciated by everyone. We had our cocker spaniel meet us for photos as well, and the photos she got of him we will truly treasure forever. Vicki, thank you thank you for making our day so special, and for giving us the most special photographs to look back on it. You exceeded expectations in every way, and would recommend you in a heartbeat. She’s the best!

From making us feel super comfortable in front of the camera and putting up with our awkwardness, everyone who has seen the photos have thought they were amazing.   • Vicki is an incredible wedding photographer. When she turned up in the morning to me and my bridesmaids she picked up on the organised chaos of the day immediately and put everyone at ease whipping my bridesmaids in to shape to get things done and making everyone laugh. Coming from 2 sets of separated parents meant a never ending list of phots and things to keep everyone happy and Vicki took it in her stride. When we went for our couples photos Vicki gave us that calm 30 minutes we needed capturing the most beautiful photos and even managed to leave us for 10 minutes in a quiet space away from everyone - she really looked after us. So many incredible photos on what was an extremely hot day - somehow the constant dripping of our foreheads doesn't appear in her photos! Absolutely magic. A fab mix of fun photos, family shots and natural laughs. To top it off Vicki provided a professionally printed album, not something I have seen anywhere else, and it is quite truly incredible - I love printed photos so this means so much to us. Thank you!
